History
Kraemer Gunite, Inc. was
incorporated in New Jersey on January 2, 1974 by Robert P. Kraemer.
With his wife Rosalie and brother Edward, he built what industry desperately
needed; a top quality refractory installation and concrete repair firm.
He branded the company with his family name to be a symbol of their commitment.
Their straight forward and honest approach attracted the business of local oil
refineries and power plants, for refractory installations; and municipalities
and institutions, for concrete
repairs. In the years that followed,
word of mouth would lead the company around the world, servicing sisters to
Kraemer loyal USA oil refineries, and across the Northeastern USA, performing
concrete restorations on a vast scale to include a 100,000 seat sports stadium.
Along the way patente
d
technology would be developed. Trademarks would be registered.
More productive work methods would be found. Engineers and
managers from countries including Canada, Mexico, England, Germany, Japan,
China, Taiwan, Australia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria, to name just a
few, would travel to the Kraemer complex to see the many innovations and how
business was conducted. The name Kraemer would become
synonymous with quality in every respect and the company was transformed into a
true world class organization.
